Thread: Before I Craft a Probot with Armor Mod 6 What should i know?
Hiya,
I will be a Master DE very soon ...
I have almost all the components to make the Adv Probot - BUT - I was told in game that the Probot is 'nerf'd' ... so what does that mean???
Will i be wasting my time and res's trying to make a 'top of line' bot? I was planning on the Armor Mod 6 (master level bot armor stuff) ... and other adv droid parts - but i do not want to waste the the parts or my time if the probot is capped at a lower level or 'ner'd' in some way.
Any info on Probots would be very much appreciated.
Thx

Your better off stacking 2 armor 4s, you get the same result as 1 6.
So what happens if you stack two Armor 5s or, better yet, two Armor 6s? And how exactly would one tell?

this has got to be a bug..i cant believe the armor maxes out at 40% that is so.... well insain. Why even have level 5 or 6 armor it cost 5 times as much to make as level 4 does! Well AT-ST armor resist are 70% so that tells me that 40% is not max, but this problem with droid armor not going over 40%has been around for 2 months and the devs have not even mentioned it yet.But i guess im used to that lol they dont even mention some of the fixes they do to droids when they fix bugs, they just sneak them in. Im sure that is because they are very embarassed the droids are so hosed with countless bugs. If i wanted i could make a list of atleast 20 bugs just of the top of my head..so any howim praying it is a bug just like the new bug that we cant craft anything over 0%durability<hope they fix this one fast>.
correct me if i am wrong, but i believe the word is NERF... not BUG...
I seem to remember reading a post on it, but i've read so many.
The light armour is supose to block 50% of the damage then the resits%. the med armour is supose to block 50% for light, another 50% of the remaining damage for med and then 40% of the rest of the damage for the 40% resist! currnetly it only blocks the 40% from the resists. LvL 6 armour is supose to give HVY armour and block 50% for light, 50% for med, 50% for med and then the % resist. the stacked LVL 6 armour is supose to be blocking almost all incoming damage from cdef pistols. any weapon that has armour priecing reduces the armour rating, and if it has a higher rating it then dose a 25% extra damage per level!
Quality matters not. The highest adjustment I've seen while using the absolute best % material ever found on Bloodfin was a 819HAM advanced probot...
Just use what ever you can find - it doesn't seem to make a major difference, yet.
I love how "quality matters". By using the highest quality and experimentation you can a DE can increase his Probots HAM by maybe 10 points. As soon as you get into a fight with any decent creature/NPCthat 10 HAM is going to mean what...
Your probot is still dead...
