Thread: SOE should fire there Marketing executive!
If understand your pain everyoneim up to 4,4,1,4 and have been there for close to 3 weeks.. I just havent been bothered to lvl up to masted DE since it wont give me jack S@#$... Im seeing the DE population stedily decreasing.. My whole guild 50 plus people left the game all togehter just a week ago becouse the game is so bugged, and once you have gotten your master tittle you can basically just sit on your ass.. since there is no special quest that work or any decent loot to be found from hunting rare creatures or hitting dungeons... I cant beleive that a company like SOE cant understand the most fundamental rule of modernday marketing.. Customer relation.. you would think they would have some decent marketing guys there that would tell them that they need to build a customer relation and make sure they please all the current customers and convince them to stay.. Instead they seem to be applying an old outdated Sales view to marketing where the only thing that matters is getting a new customer once your in the game, they dont seem to give a S$#% about if you stay or not... In the end they will loose out since there isnt a infinite customer base... You know what they said a happy customer tells 3 others about there experience and a unhappy customer tells 10... If they continue like this they will loosea lot of customers.. Its there los in the end they could be earning so much more money, if they just kept us happy and at the same time as they get new people in... Oh well SOE seriously need to consider firing there Marketing executive.....
SOE just tries to please the biggest part of their community, the pistoleers and some other proffesion.
We're just last on their list.
I feel really bad for those who shelled out the extra money for the special edition - if they are unhappy with the game.
Mr. Moo
Their marketing team did a fair job, I'm sure... but, this team we're seeing just isn't working together. Customer service? Informing players about the changes in a patch? Balance? Technical server/bandwitdth/database issues? Management bringing everyone together? Internal communication? These are the real issues, not the marketing department. After all, they probably just made the box, the CD case, and chose a bunch of magazines and websites to publish their ads on.
If we got the tar and feathers out, let's go after those who are really responsible.
Oh, and FIX DROIDS NOW!
Actually yeah, all the magazines I've read pretty much canned it - but they all gave it thumbs up when previewed- how wierd.
