Here a idea...

What about sending messages as Holographic images. They would cost money per transmit about 1k (or more - MONEYSINK!).The recipent and senderneeds a static Holoprojector (build by Architects) or a Holo Module in a Droid (build by Droid Engineers)

The recieved message displays the character who sended it as a small blue glowy in the state where he send the message with a speech bubble showing what he recorded. Like in the starwars movies. 2 emotes can be transmited and 2 texts.

Those messages take up space in Datamodules (Droids) and can be stored in there similar to waypoints.

Droids and Holoprojectors can send and recive these messages. they get unique serial numbers (like phone numbers)through which they can send and retrieve these messages,

What do you think about this? What other ways could this be implemented? I think this would add much atmosphere and much potential for content...

And the Holodroid could be used to allow Entertainers to heal mind wounds and Bat Fat while in the wild!!

Although we have an email system, another message system is largely redundant BUT I agree it would add considerable atmosphere. I also think the recorded Entertainer concept is a good one, as I believe Dev's stated Mind Damage was not intended to be the decisive factor in PVP.

Seeing holo images projected from an R2, well that'd be cool and even cooler if they had a purpose.
