Well since DEs make virtually no profit . well compared to other classes at least , im turning a profit but slowly , i finally figured a way to get my profit margine up. Since we blew most are skill points in DE , we cant go to high into other professions. So we become resouces merchants , dont use the res to build droids that u have to sell a kidney with just to make a money on. Start over harvesting and selling off resources , you wont have a stock pile of resouces , but u will have money . Just stock pile the special rare resouces we will need in the furture , Ditanium , Duralloy , Extrusive ore , and sell over everything you can. Like i said you wont have vast amounts of stock piles but at least it will keep you in the market and alive making a profit.

I understand.

I'm a DE, so I mine resources for a living.

I used to be an Artisan, which meant that I killed wild animals for a living.

I understand.

Wow, I don't know about you but I am not even a Master Droid Engineer yet and I already have well over a million credits... it may be how you advertise and such. Often going to medical centers and speaking to (not screaming you have droids for sale, butinstead kindly point out the advantages of having a medical droid)medics/doctors about medical droidsthere can net you up to a couple of purchases.

O im was finacially well off as well , but in the last week sales have dropped like a rock , first no one wanted probots b/c they permadie , now people are buying them again but most have a better creature from a BE , but just want that extra kick from a probot. I make a very small profit off being a DE , mostly because im tired of the grind , some days i will make 100k + and everything will sell out , others the same droid will sit in the vendor for a week. But being a Res merchant is great , i just hit the harvs once a day and sell almost everything i put in the vendor in 48 hours. Great way to keep all the excess res from stocking up and being useless since its useless to make tons of droids since everyone wants something different , the best seller is the med droids cause all medics preety much want the same thing.

I was joking about my last post. Suppose I should have set my mood to sarcastic.

If you want to make money, either sell lots of droids cheap, or a few for a lot. Granted, few people will pay a lot if someone's selling cheap, but i'm sure you can find an inbetween. Oh yeah, join a guild, it makes life easier. Only thing that kept me sane while grinding was the guild chat.

To make money it helps to have a dedicated merchant to hawk your wares for you. I have done this and it gets me a nice slow steady influx of cash. My merchant lets me know what kinds of stuff are wanted and I can whip them out.

Right now there is a pretty steady income from bounty hunters. Find a few to be steady customers and you can do your harvester upkeep easily and any other droid you sell is bonus.
I don't sell the volumn I used to and frankly don't really want to I have about 700k and no real use for it so anything I get just slowly adds onto my savings.

I figure by time they fix us or the space expansion comes out I will be a many times multi millionare. One of the keys is once you master only keep up the bare ammount of harvesters you need unless you are selling resources. We do not use that many and I have seen people kill themsevlevs with HUGE upkeep costs.
