Hello fellow DEs,

I have a customer that is not willing to buy a surgical droid. He states that he would rather get the xp for healing instead of the droid taking away his xp grind.

Can someone clear up how xp is given when a medic has a surgical droid?

Does the droid take away from the xp that the medic can receive or does the medic get a percentage of the xp for the dorid's healing.

I've never heard of a medical droid taking away XP. In fact, my guess is that a sufficiently advanced droid will actually help a doctor gain XP.

I think the character you were talking to is laboring under the mistaken assumption that a medical droid will automatically heal wounds. They do not. What they do is allow a medic to heal wounds outside of the medical center and camp and, in the case of droids with a level VI module installed, grant a bonus to healing.
