Thread: Worshipful Personality Chip Problems

I created a 3PO droid last night with a worshipful personality chip, but the responses i get from it are not the standard worshipful responses.

Rather than the usual obsequious groveling I got messages like "yes", no, and "I understand that command".

I had to take 2.5 k off the price because the buyer had ordered worshipful.

I made another droid (again a special order), and experimented on the worshipful chip to see if quality made a difference. Nope. Still simple, terse answers.

I have a 3PO model and the worshipful chip still works fine (and I did no experimentation when I made him a few days ago)

Anybody else see this issue?

On another subject, the droid's crafting station didn't work either (and I didn't use clusters). This also isn't the first time this has happened. Customer tried both grouped and ungrouped. Any ideas?

It sucks when you promise a custom made droid and can't deliver. Why would anyone give you repeat business, even if you refund credits or supply another droid? And it's not worth the time when I have to make two droids in order to fill one order.

I have noticed a deterioration in both worshipful and sarcastic chips in the last few days.

The droids just don't seem to talk as much anymore

Also, make sure your customers know that droids with a personality chip will not act with that personality until they are tamed then stored once. Then once they are called from the datapad, the personality takes effect. I'm not sure the cause of this, but as far as I know, everytime a customer complained about the personality, I told them to store and call droid. Once they did, personality was fine.

I've seen several times where the customer's crafting station would seem to not work because mine was overriding it, especially when the stations are different. If you store your crafting station droid, theirs should start working.

The system seems to check for the closest available crafting station, regardless of whether or not it matches the type of item you are trying to craft. When it finds one, it returns a positive, or negative response and stops - it does not search for other crafting stations.
