Thread: Will 2 level 4 med modules put the med rating at 110 percent?
I Think three lvl 3 or two lvl 4 will stack for 110 med rating. they do not require rare materials and can be put into the general droid cluster, none of the crafting stations seem to work well in them.

Currently 110 is the max for a medical rateing.
Yes 2 lvl 4 MM = 110 rateing
I take 2 lvl 4 MM and a Food crafting station and combine them into a cluster.
I take that cluster and place it into a R2 and have my number 1 selling droid.

This means you can infinitely stack as many modules of any kind, all squished down into a socket cluster that will fit in a MSE droid.
I made a mouse droid with all 4 crafting stations (didn't work, but hey, it had them installed), 2 level 4 medical modules, 2 level 4 item storage modules, 2 level 4 data storage modules, and a repair module. The droid had 110 MCR, 150 Data Storage, 10 Item Storage, AND the ability to repair other droids. I know that at least 1 of the crafting stations worked as well.
This is a big major ugly nasty vicious evil bug, and should be (if it isn't already) on the top of the bug list for the devs.

I agree, stacking clusters is a bug... stacking modules is not though
If you look at the descriptions of modules in the skill tree (ctrl-s) by hovering the mouse over the item in the list it states stacking modules will grant higher ability. AND it states for crafting stations that stacking more than one will not increase the effectiveness...
The last part is why I think different modules don't work, it takes the first it sees and doesn't care what the rest are.
Another problem with this is that this stacking statement , on the description of the schematic in the skills window, does not hold true for level 6 versions. Probably why a few thing stacking in general is a bug.

Or do I need to be a master DE to make 110 percent med droids.
You in fact, can stack modules to make up to a medical rating of 110...
However...
You might want to invest in a authentique level 6 medical module. I believe that one day, the DEV's will make it so you cannot stack med modules so they can add up to a higher number. in wich case, you'll be stuck with either a broken droid or a droid that can only use one lvl 3-4 module. I can see this because this will justify being a master DE, which can make the lvl 6 mods.
Or else why be a Master DE when you can simply do things twice and easier at a lower level?
You can always have another droid built though if this does come to pass.

Again, everyone is assuming that if they do change things, the changes will change existing droids.
Look at probots, you have pre nerf and post nerf HAM.
pre nerf seekers and probe do not have charges.
Do you really think that droids, with a 110 MCR, no matter how they were made, will be changed? If you examine the droid after it's tamed it does not list the modules installed, just the MCR. I very much doubt that a "fix" of any stacking of any modules will not, nor ever break existing things in game.
isn't it like buying 2 256MB chips or one 512MB chip? sure both do the same, but you're taking two slots instead of one. Why would that be nerfed? Sure a master DE can make a 110% module but can't he add 2 to one droid for 220%?
Sorry, as I said I'm ignorant, just a novice DE without any filled boxes yet
