Why not add some commands to certain droids like "pay maintenance" and "retrieve resources". You could set patrol points and set these commands at each point where a harvester is. Just put money and power in your droid and tell it what level you would like to maintain your harvesters. After all, aren't the purpose of droids to make our lives easier? Do you know how many people would love to buy a droid like this? Also, give certain droids(like R2's) the ability to hack into machinery. Certain things like bases require a smuggler to hack into or slice a terminal to achieve your mission. I saw R2 hack into all kinds of crap in the movies. Im not a DE, but i thought these were good ideas, and i know i would, and others would, pay good money for a droid that would perform these kinds of services.

Would be cool to have the Binary Load Lifter not only do harvester runs but also deliver items to a person at a specific WP.
