Droid Engineer profession should be renamed to Nothing Useful.

The medical droids do stuf. And, um, power droids work on other people's droids. Too bad you can't use a power droid on your own droids. And why do power droids need batteries? You'd think that monstrously expensive thingie we gotta get from architects would hold a little more of a charge. Let's see...item storage works. Datapads work. Long as you don't put either in a surgical or protocol droid. Oh, and the crafting stations work. There's lotsa droid stuf that works.

Useful? Well, the medical mods are useful. And, um, people use BLLs to group with for higher missions. And, uh, well, docs like item storage mods to hold some stims and stuf. I'm wondering if putting your spices/sliced stuf in a droid and storing the droid will show up on the scanners.

Granted, none of this is gonna thrill the life out of anybody, but there are uses for droids.

OKOK...

I know some of this stuff is usefull...but...it is nothing that can not be duplicated elsewhere.

For crafting, go to a crafting station. For Medical, go to med center. For storage, use the bank

My point is...we have nothing that drive the need for droids really. Sure, there are those wandering medics that buff people, but...other than that, nothing really gives our droids a uniqueness in this game that I believe they deserve.
