If the dev's already have combat droids finished and shelved, ask them to please add the Adv Chassis to us. That cant possibly cause a balance problem for anybody, and besides, we sell as many if not more Chassis than we do droids anyway, so at least we'll get SOMETHING from their follie.

I agree. I have been up in the air about completing DE but have the blueprints line so I can make chassises until I decide. Being able to build droideka or battle droid chassis to "defend" my PA Hall and shop with would be cool. Probots only look but so intimidating.

Only problem is...if required to create a skin, they may do so...but then later change it, causing an uproar as with the change in the Probot Skin. Personally, I didn't even see the difference bettween the old and new. Just some hinges on their arms...what is the problem with that? Besides, their skin is such a dark shade you can't see them anyway...lol.

But, as far as being able to build some kewl chassis...that would be awesome. I wouldvote YAY!

P.S. how about allowing us to shade the color of the Protocol droid??? there are reddish ones, silver, piece together ones...lol...

I have a question...Why is it, I create a gold colored Protocol Droid for a shuttleport, but when the shuttleport is build, that protocol droid is silver? lol.

Bad idea.

If people start seeing new chassis in the game, they are going to assume the combat droids have been added. Personally, I'd rather not receive 150 /tells a minute asking me to make droids that aren't even craftable. This will cause more headache than you can imagine...

While I agree that it would be kewl to have a chassis in my shop, I agree with Ootwo. I get enough /tells as is about the dumbest stuff sometimes. I don't think I could handle many more trying to explain the difference between a chassis and a droid. (I do that alot already also...had one guy buy a chassis and then send me a niceemail about how I ripped him off. The chassis was on my vendor, he bought it, and then lit into me cuz it wasn't an actual droid. I told him next time look at anything he buys and he wouldknow it was not a droid, and then I tookthe other chassis off my vendor...)

Easy to explain diff between chassis and droid...

A droid you can control, is stored in your datapad, interactable.

A chassis is nothing more than a piece of furniture in your inventory. It is not interactive, does nothing...just stands and looks pretty.

I've got enough schematics in my data pad for droids that do nothing useful. I don't want anymore.

In truth, I don't feel strongly either way on the issue of new chassis. I just want the profession to be fixed. Everything else is candy.
