The best ways I have found of getting AP are either to start up a group and go hunting with some lowbies, or sit around Mos Eisley med centre while grinding....you often get people coming in there for training. I managed to gain 340 AP points on Monday from a 2 hour grinding stint in the med centre. I have to admit, none of those ap where earned teaching DE though....I think you're gonna need some other skills to teach.

If it's just DE, I'd recommend two things:

Hang around Mos Eisley and teach Engineering there.

And do a search for Droid Engineers on the community screen and let them know you are willing to train them. I was able to affors to pay the NPC trainer, but still it would have been nice to know someone who could have taught me instead... I'm sure I could have done better things with the money.

I am down to my last tufts of hair, so I decided I'd better ask some of you experts advice on how to get my toon to Master level. Right now he is 4-4-4-4 in DE. I've travelled to planets, moons, cities trying to raise my apprenticeship level. So far, no luck. It seems that noone is interested (or there aren't any novice DE's around) in training with me. Could anyone offer advice as to what to do? Is there any other way that I can gain apprenticeship points asides from yelling "Free training DE: 4-4-4-4" forever? Thanks so much for all your help, my brothers.

Surely, besides DE4444, you have other skills you can train folks in.

Do you have artisan skills, combat skills, entertainer, etc?

If you have just Engineering and DE, then yes, you are going to have a bit of trouble finding apprentice training points.

If you get really desperate, take up marksman ranged 1. There is always someone out there with tons of combat XP and willing to help.

I ran into the same issue when I had dreams of becoming BH when you had to have both MM and Master scout. You would think it would be easy to find people to teach with that array of skills but the market was really flooded with Free trianing Spam verywhere. Actually got so bad I started another chc on Kettemoor.

I have to agree that groups are definitely a great way to go with this though, and not just with low lvl's either don't be afraid to ask someone in the group if they have a skill with a surplus of xp they can drop and you can retrain them in. Nice to find a lwbie to help out but Masters do take pitty on you as well.

I think I finally got mine from a Doc who had maxed out in Scout Harvesting he dropped the full row and I just kept retraining him. I made all 600 ap xp in one sitting took about 10 minutes

Good Luck!
