Hello fellow Droid Engineers,

I am wondering what is the best in your opinions for making Maintanance Droids.

Example Questions: What to put in them? What kind of droid to use?

I hope someone can assist in any way.

You mean LE's?

They make good combat droids... other than that, whatever a person wants to use 'em for...

I'm assuming that you're talking about a Structure Maintenance droid.

Almost any droid chassis, including the MSE Mouse droid can hold one. A level 3 module is the best you can get, and having more than one module has no stacking effect. A Level 3 will allow the droid to go interplanetary to put maintenance on structures on other planets. So, there really is no "best". If YOU yourself are the DE, and you're asking what to put in them for stocking purposes... I personally would say MSE droid with Level 6 Item storage. It's simple to make, and easy to label when stocking on your vendor.

If are not a DE and are asking what to have a DE install, and all you want is a pure maintenance droid, go with an MSE. They're easy as heck to make, which will lower the cost from the DE.

But why stop there?

There are tons of options available, an R3 Adv being the best option for multi-tasking droids.

If you're looking for an all-around maintenance droid you could install an auto-repair module to help heal other droids (won't function in a power droid or repair droid chassis).

Then you could add a Level 6 Storage Module (can hold 10 items). If you do alot of factory runs, perhaps a Level 6 Data Storage module (holds 150 manufacturing schematics only).

If you do alot of crafting, you could get the appropriate crafting station modules installed.

Etc, Etc.

I hope this helped at least to some extent.
