Thread: Heal times on Stimpack Droids?

Anybody have a formula to see what your heal time in seconds is in proportion to your stimpack rating?

From what I understand the healing timer is approx 10 seconds... so if the droid is healing with 75 healing stimA's, then it'd be approx (10 x 75) / 60. I am uncertain if the healingvaries when coming from a droid like it does a PC.

I may be mistaken so don't quote me on this. =P

not sure you got that quite right (or you answered a different question, not sure which). I don't know the formula but I think a rating of 7 will get you about 10-12 second delay, and a rating of 30 or so will get you about 1.5, don't have enough data to find a better equation.

Yea Jenden is on track with what I am asking. I have a customer that wants a 2 second delay, but then as many stims packed in as I can. I'm trying to find out what rating I need for a 2 second delay.

I'd test it, but I don't have any stim A's lying around.

I think a 33 rating was about 1 second or thereabouts. I think it was a 5 on the module.
I got 512 charges off of that too.

I assume this is two seconds out of combat, since it will go into the queue otherwise.

I've been looking for this to... seems like we need to do an old fashion test.

Damn, I guess I need better materials... I don't think I've made one with that kind of rating yet.

(Then again I'm just a 10-point MDE)

I take it that the Small Stimpack A+ can also be used in this module? I have the schematic sitting around and figured I could get a doctor friend to make me a bunch of really good ones.

What's the best power you've seen on an A+ stimpack?

The A+ won't work.
Stim A's are maxed at 100 I believe, so 99 is the best you are most likely to get.

Thanks for letting me know, before I went out and invested in that avenue.

Well, I guess 99 is better than nothing when you're working in a group. I have Novice Medic and can't seem to load the module myself - do I just drag the Stims onto the droid or something? (And if so, won't they just go in the item storage compartment?)

If some higher level of medical skill is needed to stock the droid, must it be the owner or can I befriend it to the medic? It seems pointless to have a droid that can only dispense A's if the person who loads it can use much better meds.

The owner needs to have medic Pharmacology 4 to load it, which is done through the radial menu I think. So you have to transfer the droid to the medic who then transfers it back.

Well, since I've been meaning to find this one out, for the 101 guide, I guess I'll be making a droids to test this one out. Works prefectly into my plan anyways, since it will allow me to do a boat load of hand crafting for some FS XP conversion.

Do these actually sell? They seem to be less and less useful every time I look them up? Have people found a real use for them in the field? I have never used one but I assume that when you /requestStimpack it just adds one to inventory and there is no autoheal involved...

Never bothed making any but le tme know if I am off track and there really is a demand for droids with this module....
