This seems to all been but forgotten =( I was really looking forward to new combat type droids, and them acually being useful to higher level toons. Not to mention I haven't seen any of these new droids they said would be released inmini-pulishes of the future. TheRealTK421, could you comment on this? Will the combat revamp have something to do with this? Even a Dev responce would be nice...

PS, this is a different account then what I used back then so thats why it looks so new =P

The community actually suggested this idea, but there was no way it could be made workable. There were just too many problems with giving people combat droids without an additional skillpoint expenditure

Yep, I think most of them you've seen in game (the battle droids, super battle droids, IG assasin droids, destroyer droids (droidekas), etc.)

Slated for some time after JTLS/Combat Revamp/GCW Revamp/Smuggler Revamp

I don't think they ever said there would be new player crafted droids. They did mention some "new droids", which referred to the battle droids and super battle droids.
