I am attempting to set recharge my droid whilst I am away from my keyboard. I wondered if there were any advancements in droids recently that would allow my droid to recharge itself? I doubt there is but I figured this is the place to ask.

Also, if anyone knows of any line commands to do this it would be helpful. Thus far I have got the droid targeted, and the radial dial opened....but cannot figure out how to choose 2)Droid Options ----->Recharge . This is what I use to target and open radial dial:

/target an (named "an r3 unit")

/pause 2

/ui action radialMenu2

I am a noob here so any help is appreciated. Gracias

Nope. There is no way to recharge your own droid while AFK.

Nope. There isn't that either.

Unfortunately, the only real way any DE (or anyone else) has discovered to recharge a droid while AFK involves 2 people each using a "Gonk" Power Droid. A macro can then be set up by each person to recharge the others droid using a verbal command.

That's it.

i have thought of that...set up a macro ...befriend the power droid to my alt....(the doc) and then have him macro the recharge command...however wouldnt that only last a little while as the power droids themselves would run out of battery life?

I think I am SOL here.

Thanks for the reply though

Just a thought but have never really tried it or even give it a real thought. Maybe if you put the battery in a tool bar slot, you could use it after you get the droid targeted? I need to test this later on myself.

No the battery in the tool bar slot wont work.

If you have both power droids recharge each other, they will not run out of power.

Straker is correct here.Battery in the toolbardoes not work. The reason why is if you put a battery up in the toolbar slot, when you click on it (or call it in a macro) all it does is examine the battery and doesn't actually use it.

The trick is 2 people. Both people use a power droid. Person A uses a macro to recharge Person B's droid. At the same time, Person B uses a macro to recharge Person A's droid. This way they both bump each other up to 100% at regular intervals and never run out. As each droid has 1 slot, the Doc could have a Medical Mod, and if you have Merchant Advertising 4, you could use a merchant barker to advertise for the Doc.
