Can you store pets/waypoints and schematics on them if you can how many of each or in total?

The only thing you can put in droid data storage is manufacturing schematics. Not even your normal schematics, just the ones you put into factories.
I have also heard that droids will hold 'data disks' from the recent story arc, but have no direct experience.
In any case, I don't remember what the numbers are, but it's actually quite high, when compared with item storage. I have an R2 unit I stuck a data storage module into, I think it's a level 4? Anyway, the droid has well over 100 data storage spaces.

Ah cool, they can hold manufacturing schematic?
So can I transfer a droid to a master artisan and have them load schematics for various needed parts and get the droid back from him? So that I can load factory runs myself?

Indeed yes, you could do this.
In fact, if the droid also has item storage, the Artisan could conceivably load it up with the ingredients as well.
By the way, there's some word that they worked on the 'befriend' commands, so try that first, have your droid befriend the artisan in question, and see if he/she is able to access the droid's item and data storage at that point. I haven't had a chance to test this myself yet.

I tried this one, no luck. The droid will take the "friends" commands but they don't have any special access. Something else to add to the wishlist I guess.

Jenden,
WHEN did you try it?
I ask specifically because I seem to recall seeing a note that they were working on "Pets befriending" in the patch notes for last week.
In particular, witness the following, from the 'Balance' section of 'Recent Updates':
# Fixed pets friendlist, so pets can be ordered to befriend another player and will respond to commands from that player (you can /tellpet to someone else's pet though, even if you are the pet's friend).
Usually, 'pets' refers to droids as well.

I have another question on this and I cannot find an answer searching the 'stuck' posts...
Are the Data Modules bugged or were they designed to only hold schematics? I had tried to store waypoints in my MSE droid's datapad (data module level 1) for the longest. I finally gave up and destroyed the poor rolling toaster.
I seemed to remember an old post mentioning data modules as useless because of a bug, but I didn't know if it ever got fixed or if I was using the droid wrong.

I kind of doubt that "befriend" will give you access to the droid's storage compartments. Befriend makes the pet listen to someone else's verbal commands, but AFAIK it does not give owner-level radial menu access to the pet.
I have used a mouse droid to courier some manufacturing schematics to another DE who didn't have Master Artisan, but it required Transfer. I haven't tried it since the patch though.
One question I had: Can a "befriended" pet be stolen if the "friend" targets himself and gives the Transfer command? This would be a really nasty thing to do, but would really throw water on those CHs who are over there rubbing their hands about the possibility of setting up a befriended-pet "rental" business.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the Droid Data Modules and Droid Item Storage Modules stack? Also do the Droid Repair Modules and Auto-Repair Modules stack as well?

Yes, Yes, No, and Yes.
For the full explaination, take a look at the DE 101 thread, sticked to the top of the forum and linked in my sig.
