Droids.

No, really that's the best answer. Considering the amount of combinations for a "full" droid, it's not as simple as it used to be in the beginning.

But if you're looking for a simple answer: Bounty Hunter Droids. They're consumable and used a lot considering how much Jedi are hunted these days. Not to mention the exploit where the jedi can trick the seekers to thinking they are offline is going to be fixed in a week.

lvl 6 item storage droids, in a variety of chassis will always sell well ppl are packrats!

med110, food/chem crafting, 10 item storage for the docs... i make them in anything that hold 3 modules or more, and they sell well. (minus surgical model.. grr)

right now astromechs are good sellers. i've been using r5 for 2,3,4, then r4 for v5 with item storage, and r2 for v6 with 10 item storage.

Merchant barker droids, with or without item storage.

combat droids, tanks, full attack and/or mixed. (imake r3 and probots, hate LE as a combat droid personally)

harvesting droids - if you can break 100 on the rating, they will sell well.

Hope this helps, cant' remember what's in the DE101, but probably very similar to this list.... i find that keeping my vendors well stocked, with a wide selection ofdroids (different chassis, ie i make an item storage model out of 16 chassis (stupid surgical one...) mses for the ppl that don't care about looks, the other styles for people that want a droid, not just another backpack. I find itgoes a long way to having repeat customers, and having past customers reccomend me to their friends.

last question.. when you make your droids, do you mass produce the entire deed in a factory? I've found that very hard to do, and a pain really. just curious.

both. kinda.

Mostly tho my vendors get stocked by me standing there, crafting on the fly. I like to offer a variety of colors AND styles for those people that it matters too.

bomb droids, in the factory, no doubt.

I pretty much do everything BUT the final deeds in the factories... that way when i'm in front of my vendor with my backpack of parts on me, i can make a droid in 2 mins, stock it, and move on to the next one. plus i get some crafting xp to convert into the FS xp

I kind of have a thing against factory produced droids, probably because when I first become a DE, I scouted out the competition, and if i was lucky enuf to find a DE vendor on my server that wasn't empty, all it had on it was 1 or 2types of droids, made in a factory, and like 20 of them or so... no variety, no selection... blech.... I promised myself i would always keep a well stocked vendor with a wide selection of colors, types (functions) and chassis'.

that being said, I am currently now factory producing astromech droids, because they are in high demand, and I want to be able to meet that demand. level 2,3,4 are really just gonna be temporary droids for most ppl, and I do them as such, with no othe rmodules. for v5 and v6 i'm definatly throwing item storage in them, as people will hang onto these droids a llot longer, and having that extra storage space is on almost everyone's list that I know

Harvester's i'd probably do in a factory too if i had the right resources. (not much I can do for variety in these)

Combat droids (probot, and r3) i've done in factories and willagain, as there's also not much variety to them.

What makes me money? Welp:

1) Unprogrammed command modules. People go through them like butter.
2) My cheapie med droids (item storage, MCR 110, food/chem crafter). A shame they don't decay...
3) Flight Computers
4) Batteries
5) BH droids (seekers and arakyd)
6) Bomb droids

All others are once-in-a-while sales.
