Thread: Need advice/tips on Grinding to Master DE.
There are many technigues that can be used to increase the efficiency and accurracy while crafting, but I am not sure what they are. I would like to know how to create and how to use macro's to decrease my efforts while grinding through crafting experience. I know there are number of methods out their (galaxies) to speed the way to master DE.
DE is a very daughting task, but with your help, you can reduce some of that frustration.

I quite agree. While I have taken time to aquire resources to "do the grind," I have only ground enough to get to the next skill box. Then I take time to explore what new things I can craft and how they fit together. This mostly applies to the Blueprint skill tree though, as a data module 2 vs 4 or 6 really are not much different. It also gave me time to set up a factory, sell some resources and start the factory crafting micro sensory arrays, E mem modules, GP units, Droid brains etc. Then I can experiment on crafting different droids before offering them for sale. I really like to play with a droid I've crafted before selling one so as to be able to answer questions about them without seeing like an idiot. This way I may level up to a new skill box once or twice a week. I figure it will still take me another month to get to MDE.
A player who just grinds to master without taking the time to actually craft droids along the way is missing a whole lot in crafting experience ( otherwise why do they call it xp?)

* Set up harvesters that bring in a 2:1 ratio of steel to fiberplast.
* Grind MSE Droids until you reach Blueprints II
* Grind out Advanced Droid Structure Modules until you reach Master
Guys, the holocron obviously told this guy to master DE, and he's clearly not interested in being a DE. Your efforts to help him enjoy the ride are quite wasted.
Here's my advice:
There are about 10 of these threads already where people have pointed out the easiest path for you holo grinders. Go find one.
I am also grinding my way through DE by the guidance of a holocron. I am almost finished with Advanced Droid Blueprints, and have been grinding on MSE Droids the whole time. As soon as I hit Advanced Blueprints, my focus is going to turn to Advanced Droid Frame Units. I will continue to grind Frame Units up through master.
I would take the time to set up all the extractors/harvestors you need. It helps alot in the grind, and if you can get 2 medium mineral extractors going chugging at 10 extraction rate, you will be set for steel which is what you will mostly need. I find that I make enough money through 6.4k missions in coronet with my Rancor to pay for maintenance on both of my extractors and my solar generator.
It just takes time. I know that this is going to be a long grind, so I am not really rushing it anymore. If I have time to grind... yep, I'll do it. But I find that I only get about an hour and a half of free time to actually GRIND. The rest of my time is spend paying maintenance on 2 houses, PA monthly dues, Extractor/Harvestor Maintenance, and other things which are needed like weapons and such.
