I noticed that the crafting stations are only listed as Wepon Crafting, Food Crafting, ect. My question is this does the Wepon crafting station do droid and genral like public stations, same with food does it do chemical too.

Well, ALMOST the same as architect's stations...
That is, they act like private stations, but the numbers we get during crafting have little or nothing to do with the ratings that private crafting stations get... And we cannot give them input hoppers.

Alright you've peeked my intrest what is a input hopper?
Crafting stations for houses can have input hoppers built into them. These act like storage areas that you can load with whatever materials you want to use. When you craft and are by one of these, there is a tab at the top of your material window that allows you access to use the material out of this hopper instead of out of your backpack.
Handy place to store the material that you use to make stuff with (as opposed to all over the floor or a fully loaded backpack).
It does not automatically do anything with those materials like a factory though, if that was where you were going.

Input Hopper:
When an architect creates a crafting station, there is an optional component, a 'Droid Storage Module' made by a DE (from very high OQ metal if possible).
This addition allows you to use your crafting tool to 'Open Input Hopper' and store ingredients in the crafting station itself.
When you begin crafting near such a machine, you will notice that over your ingredient list from inventory, a second tab will appear for the input hopper. You can click that and then use the ingredients from there for your assembly.

yeah those input hoppers on architect stations are great, i lost 45k of resources 2 days ago due to a bug with the hopper. now all my resources stay in bags next to the station. these bugs are deadly.
