Thread: Power Droids ever need batteries?

Hello. So I'm extremely sick of whipping out my droid and seeing *low power* but I am also sick of hunting down droid batteries. And I just don't use it enough to justify carrying around a crate of batteries. My inventory is precious to me.


I checked the FAQ and saw no detailed info on these, so thought I'd drop a question here. Do these run forever or ever need batteries themselves? Can me and a buddy each get a power droid, and as long as we're close by to whip out the power droid and recharge each other's main droid never need batteries again?

Yes, for some reason they need batteries.

Essentially, a power droid serves as a 'battery multiplier', and is primarily useful in a group situation.



Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

Bah humbug. =P K thx. No reason to get a power droid in this case. Which sucks for the droid eng class. I could see having to plug them into a power source in a city or something, or even working for a while and when they get out of power they explode and you gota buy another (so basically just being a disposable battery but with alot more charges and not eating inventory =D)

Could it be possible that one Power Droid powers another Power Droid? This way you would have no need for batteries.

I've only seen 3 PC power droids in my time, and all were crafted by me.


The likelyhood of finding someone to charge my droid is slim to none.
