How does the Data Module on a droid work? I have a droid now with one and no matter what, I cannot get the droid to accept either schematics or any other data type.
The storage compartment is working and I am using it.
One more: Is there any way to rename a droid?

The only schematics you can put are 'manufacturing schematics'... These are the kind we get when at the end of a crafting session we select 'Create Manufacturing Schematic' instead of 'Create Prototype Item'.
The normal schematics you have for items you can craft will not go.
Droids can be renamed the same way pets are, as long as they are not talking droids. Program it with four commands beginning with the same (VALID!!!) name and the droid should accept it on the fourth. If there is ANYTHING wrong with the name you select, there's no indication, it simply fails to rename. Protocols and surgicals and repairs won't take names right now.
