If you want easier access to all the planets for harvesing and such, Corellia is probably the place to be. With the exception of a couple planets, you can fly to anywhere from Corellia.

I placed my shop outside of Kaadara, because I liked it there. Well, turns out that it's a hotbed for Bounty Hunters, so I do pretty well on BH droids.

My suggestion would be to scope the territory and place your shop where you like. As long as it's fairly close to public transportation, people will shop there if youpromote yourselfwell enough.

I also have a droid shop in Kaadara, best place for a dorid shop; however never run out of seekers or probes.

Personally I think it would be best to join a large player city. I am in salanar on naboo on corbantis, i sell droids well, especially BH droids. I would reccomened it, i mean my house is like 100m from the shuttleport, and we are a research center so we get a 10% bonus to experimentation or something like that. If your on corbantis, join our city, its bomb! hehe j/k

I run around Kadaara on Naboo, closest Imperial City to my home. There is always 4-6 Bounty Hunters and I usually get a bunch of tells as I am travelling to my Vendor on Tatooine. Just over the hill from the Anchorhead Shuttleport, so close infact you barely get out of AH before you are in the tent. Wonderfull spot gets tons of traffic/Sales every day. I wish I knew about the spot months ago (I would already be a Master Mechant by now, and I just set it up over the weekend)

Those are two prime spots that I frequent. Last week I was poor, now I am going to be raising my prices.
