Well according to Gary Gattis (Senior Producer) we're getting those utility modules in Pub 8, and very little after that.

His list for the next 4 publishes doesnt mention Combat droids or Droid Handler or new chassis's etc. etc, but does indicate that publish 12 should be about when the Space Expansion starts.

So, this is not very encouraging for all us who want proper changes to the DE profession, and I wondered if you had heard anything different?

Well, we are getting 2 publishes in a row now and since we turned down there suggestion for DH/DC we'll have to hope it will happen in the SE or after it.

I have been a DE since the first week of launch and have I find it absolutley silly that they have named two publishes after us and there has actually been very little in change. 3 lines in publish 8 belongs to DE. I am one of the few actually happy with the changes from this publish, the combat droids do what they couldn't before, they can help clean up the annoying mobs which surround harvesters, thats about it, if you want a tank you still have to go up the ch tree. But on the negative side i've sold a total of one probot since patch. I have an alt so i probably won't drop DE but thats the only reason, my heart goes out to everyone who has kept it to this point. DE is not a viable class to play if you want to.. A. make credits. B. have fun crafting.. C. feel like you fullfil a vital role in SWG D. Provide services which are truly desired by most of the player base. and finally E. To many things to list. We are not supposed to be negative but i'm giving up on DE. No i won't drop it but at the same time I will not look forward to any other publishes. Not until after the space expansion, and more than likely i'll be gone then for EQII. Who knows. Thank you TK for your wonderful work thus far, but you can only cooresponde with what they give you and that is pitifully lacking.

You really think that Publish 7 was for us? I'm not sure who it was for, but I don't think it was for us...

Ok, it might not have been for us but it had "Droid" in the name... that's about the amount of attention we can expect from the DEV's

The devs lack of vision/action on a part of the game that is so incredibly well illustrated in the source material can only be seen as a 'bad thing' TM

I am no longer looking forward to the space expansion (for exactly thisreason)
