Thread: Question about usefullness of skill tapes.

Greetings,
I've recently decided to go Master Driod Engineer and I have read the FAQ section in regards to skill tapes. This is my first crafting profession so please help me out and help me figure out what these things would accomplish and if they are really worth it.

I think....somebody correct me if I'm wrong....
Skill tapes are used in the crafting of a wearable item. ie clothes
If you get the right skill tape you can boost your crafting skill..........
example, +1 crafting skill tape

you can get + experimentation and +assembly skill tapes (there are others, but they don't work right now). The +experimentation will give you 1 additional experimentation point per +10 you've got. The +assembly will reduce you're chance of crit fail. The max of either is +25

So without getting up to ten a +experimentation is useless? And how much of an effect does that extra point of experiementation have?

+10 gives you one more experimentation point, +20 gives you two. Right now it's not all that useful for droids, since effectiveness seems to be the only thing that matters on experimentation.
