Thanks everyone for being a great community but as of reading the new letter on the main site, I am officially getting out of the DE profession.

Previously I had decided that I would stick around until the devs decided what they would do with the jedi system, and since that has been revealed (and no grinding of mysterious professions will be necessary) it has made my decision all the more easier.

As of today, I am putting my last droid schematics, my last chassi, my last droid parts into my factory. I still have a lot of crates parts so if you have a character on bloodfin and want a bunch of Identical parts for your business I'll let you have them for a very reasonable price. Send me an email.

Regarding my customers, Combat R3s and BH droids will still be for sale as long as I have the merchant skills to run my vendors. This will get increasingly difficult as I myself get into the BH and pistoleer business and start using the many many BH droids I made so long ago.

To everyone on these forums you're all awsome and I hope the DE profession becomes what we all in our hearts see it as being: the best damn profession in the whole game. Good luck and I hope to see you all around the galaxy someday.

I'm sorry to hear that you're bowing out, though I can understand what led you to that decision.

Best of luck on any/all of your future endeavors.

By the way, should I take you name off the list as the DENet admin? Lemme know...

The Bloodfin DENet is pretty small atm, but it still needs someone to head it up. I'll take care of it until someone else steps forward.

Anyhow, it has been good having you here. I do fear that the DE will eventually lose all of its users and it will fall into the depths along side the Image Designer.

I hope SOE gives me a reason to, I really do. Mostly for everyone else's sake. Perhaps when the space expansion is released I may make my way back to at least the crafting professions. However, starship pilot does have a nice sound to it lol

Yes, that would be very very bad. ID is great fun (2ndary on Eclipse was master) and it's too bad they don't have a bigger role in the galaxy than we thought they would pre-beta.

Anyways, anyone who wants crated service modules, droid components and chassi at a great price please email me in-game or send me a PM here. I have a lot of inventory to offload that I'd like to do ASAP. Mostly service modules and components. I have a crate of structure and general crafting stations as well as 1 each of med, data and storage and repair. My Vendors will be running for as long as possible before I need to sell back merchant (No, I am not taking advantage of the exploit that allows people to have vendors after selling back the skill) but Master Artisan is going first and then DE, so everyone has some time. Cya all later. I might come by and throw in my two cents every once and a while and make sure you guys stay positive and constructive (lol) but with the City of Heroes Beta starting a few days ago I'm going to be pretty busy with that and grinding BH/Pistoleer. Again, gl to everyone and may droids get the attention they so rightly deserve as soon as possible.

Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.
