Thread: Varying Battery Power (PETITION)

As it stands now all that can be created are weak battiers for droids and these are craftable by artisans, so why not have Droid Engineer-specific types of batteries that only they can craft?
Now, the batteries only last for a very limited time if you use your droid a lot, for example, barker droids. Where I can see the intetion of barker droids being mainly for someone to advertise while doing missions or crafting or what have you, but they are capable of so much more if they can be left for more than an hour at a time, which I think is absurd.
As I've seen, the Droid Engineer class is one of the least desirable. I am not a Droid Engineer and I have no intetion to be because it just doesn't look promising. If I could make specialized batteries for my droids I would be tempted to take up a couple skills in Droid Engineering, forcing me to balance my skills accordingly.
Also, one of the positive affects is that this change with varying battery powers or types lasting longer is that it would greatly strengthen the economy. Many players would rely on their Droid Engineers to supply with with fresh batteries, whether they be on their vendors, or direct order from a Droid Engineer, like I personally do.
If you agree with this proposal, please sign "Yea" somewhere within your post, preferrably the beginning or the end. Please spread the word as well because this minute change can have a monumental addition of positive aspects to the game.

I like the idea of longer lasting batteries. Perhaps 3 different batteries? The ones we have now, the low-end artisan crafted ones (think rayovac). The ones only low level droid engineers could make (think energizer). Then some high end master droid engineer batteries (think, uh, fuel cell?).
Not sure why you would get a one star right off the bat.

And while we're at it, some droids shouldn't need power at all ...ever... *cough* ... POWER DROID ... *cough*

it's so you can charge up your groups droids... or if you like me have it chase you around starports filling up doctors buffing droids for the hell of it.

it's so you can charge up your groups droids... or if you like me have it chase you around starports filling up doctors buffing droids for the hell of it.

What's the purpose of a power droid? Isn't it to charge other droids? Well, how the hell does it do that if you can ONLY HAVE ONE OUT AT A TIME?
