Thats one nerf I just dont get - why?
No Ranged command under program, nor does it work from the commandline.

Which type of droid? To the best of my knowledge only the R series have that choice. It's default for Probots and DZ70 and the LE is melee only.

I looked at the R models - and I for one can not see the Ranged option anymore - anyone else noticing this?

Like the attack option it wont be displayed until you actually program it.

Not visible on my new R3 either.... and if it's not visible, how can I program it? ... Makes you think, doesn't it?

I noticed this myself. I created an R3 with one combat module and 5 auto-repair modules, and when I readied the droid, there was no option to change attack modes. TK?

Guys lets be clear a second. Make sure it's a problem.
When you ready a new combat droid, in your datapad as well as when you use the "view commands" option, there will be nothing displayed for Attack or Ranged attack.
You need to actually go in and program it before that will show up.
Have you done this and it is not showing up? Is the option to program it not there?

hmm odd, I did just look at my Tank droid.
It still shows my ranged attack option and command. Yet on the "program" screen, you can't change it anymore. If that isn't there, it wont show at all on neew droids.
TK it does look like they broke something.

Yup, that's why it took a couple days for us to notice this, I think. Ones that have it programmed are still working I think, but new ones aren't giving the option to program a command to the ability.

Its probaly a bug introduced with 9.3, we all know how much quality testing goes into those patches.

I'll have to check mine out now... I made a new ADV R3 on each improvement on combat. I programed them for RA. Now I'm curious.

coincidentally, I just made an r3 (5 auto repair, 1 combat) and took him out against some low level mobs today. I am certain there was nothing programable to specify whether he used ranged or melee. He zapped them at range, then rolled in close for the manipulator arm **edit**-slap. This was my first time to ever use one of these guys, so I hadn't realized anything was buggy until now.

Ok we need to keep this up so that TK sees it, it's certainly a bug. If it was by design, they should have told us.
