Thread: Bounty Hunter droid consoles
Hey I have one little question here:
Is it true that seeker droids, which can be created by Droid Engineers, can be bought in the Bounty Hunter droid consoles for ONLY 200 credits?! I mean, what is the deal with that! And those probe droids are sold for 1k credits. I mean, considering resources go for around 3-5 credits per resource unit (at least on my server) , you'd make at least 600 selling just the resources and you HAVE to sell the final product at 200 or less. I understand why this may have been needed and still may be needed, but please, can the developers raise the prices or wean the Bounty Hunters away from those consoles and into our shops and the bazaar? 'Cause right now this is really hindering the player-run economy.

To Fix this the devs put them on the console for really cheap, I would assume as soon as the disappearing droid problem is fixed they will be pulled off the console and BH will be forced to seek out DEs for their droids. This would fit into their model of all equipment being player-made.
The only seeker droids I sell are to people to put in houses as either decoration or floating signs. I use them to show prices for all the droid models I sell.

Speaking as a BH yeah its true, its 200 for the seekers and 1000 for the probe droid (used to initial find the planet the target is on).
On an average mission (Investigation 1), I use about 4 Seeker droids and 1 Probe droid. This is optimal but due to Space Slugs and such the failure rate on the droids is fairly high (at least at my level).
Last night on one mission I used 2 Probe droids and 15 Seekers!! Ack!! So DE'ed seekers and BH-Probe droids would help out but professions.
Plusgive you guys a permanent and needy consumer base.

I don't want to make them, so I'm glad that there are terminals out there selling them for cheap.
