Does anyone know how to operate this thing?? I cant find any commands for these effects..
Any help is much appreciated.

Actually Entertainer is not enough.
You have to be a Novice Dancer or Novice Musician to use them.

The effect modules also only seem to work on combat clusters. So in an R2 unit, you can only install 3 effects. Check the stickies for more details

They must have fixed that. I saw a dancer earlier with a MSE that had 2 entertainer mods. both worked.

From TK's notes here: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=droid_engineer&message.id=80274
Description of functionality:
Call your droid, which has one (or more) of the 6 Effects modules installed, and left-click-and-hold (or use your "~" (tilde) key) on it to bring up the radial menu.
On the droid radial menu, there is an "Effects On/Off Toggle". Under this is a submenu "Configure".
When you use "Configure", you'll see 10 empty 'slots'. Select a slot and you will then select an effect (from those available in the droid) for that slot.
You will then be able to set a delay time for how long to delay before that effect goes off. The current window of time is from 3 to 60 seconds.
The effect should last for about 15 secs (Avian effect the exception). Short delay times will allow the effects to overlap a bit.

lol, I know this thread is 4 months old. But how is one supposed to know these things without searching through these forums? The holocron should have this, unfortunately it has no search function and isn't laid out logically enough to find anything useful.

Dev think that discovering is part of the fun.
Well, that was the official answer on the criptic info of the droid deeds.

Devs apparently enjoy being called all sorts of nasty names...
Seriously though. I realize that socializing and finding these things out from others in the game is part of the fun, but the first person had to find out somewhere. If it was trial and error I'm sure they've been institutionalized. I mean who's idea was it to respond with a ? when selecting one of the program options on the droid's radial menu? Was it too much trouble to make a dialog box?? Or to at least respond with something like "Enter command shortcut."???
It's a bit embarassing to be asked how to operate a droid and and having to tell the person you haven't the slightest clue, when your title has the words 'droid engineer' in it. I still don't know what the Transfer command is supposed to do for my harvesting droid....

Ya, and the search function in this forum software is not very good. Unless SOE has limited the search functions, I can't believe that they sell this with such limited search capabilities. Just Adding a date range to search within would be a great help. Being able to sort the records how you want them sorted before the search would be nice too.
I've tried to use the Holocron a couple of times and gave up using it. I'll try to search the forums, but usually have to post a question to get the answer I need.

well. its not possible to put a non-combat cluster into an R2 anyway, so that can't be it.

Transfert is to transfert your droid to someone else.
You get the droid out, you select somone and you type transfert.
The person you selected is now the owner.
Maybe look at info for pets.
Droids are just a rip off of pets.
