Thread: Found where the droid head schematic is!

We probably all have the (headless) Droid Body by now, if not a few of them. But the matching droid head hasn't shown up yet, at least as far as I know. In fact I think the only place it was seen was on display by QA on TC.
Anyway, I was looking through the files of the recent TC patch, and there is a pretty well written little quest included in the files (not sure if it is active in this patch yet or not).
I won't spoil the content of the quest, but part way through a reward item for one of the missions is the missing droid head schematic.
So, if things don’t change we’ll know where to get the head to match the body.

LOL seems like a hard way to make a Protocol Droid Chassis to me.

The droid Head Schematic has gone Live!
You can start the quest at C-3TC in Moenia, but be prepared for ground and space combat.
Gonna try to post a screenshot soon.

W00t! I wonder if the ground combat is difficult. The space I can handle.

And to the difficulty, its nothing a crafter could do alone, but no DWB Style, master of a combat profession and buffs should do it.

Where was C-TC3 moved to? It used to be in front of the Hotel.

Found it, in front of one of the guild halls beside the Hotel.

Ah cool. I'll drag along some buddies for this one. I only have a few skills in marksman (but I'm using a bowcaster, so that should help).

Can you apply this to the body even if it is already made? If so I am going to do that quest or find another droid body schmantic

I've started this quest andit is interesting and tuff. I'm past the first two ground combat parts and I'm only a Novice Carbineer using DXR-6 Carbine, Enhanced E-11 Carbine, Bone Armor, PSG, Food Buffs, Probot, and LE "Ninja" droid. A hint is to use a droid to draw the targets one at a time. Makes it a lot easier that way. There is a space part that you get from guy at the crashed shuttle, you just launch into space anddestroy several low tier Black Sun ships then land and talkhim again.Overall a good quest of moderate difficulty.
Finished this quest and got the Head schematic.
Good luck to all who take up the challenge.

Yeah so far I'm raiding the Black Sun camp. I'm buffed and got good armor on, but it takes me forever to take these guys down. And what sucks is that the journal says I have to take like 5 initiates and 8 smugglers or something like that, and I've totally lost count. So I'm forced to just keep killing until I guess the journal updates. I'm looking forward to when the ground part is done so I can go into space.
