Thread: quick question about harvester droids

why am i getting more out of a harvest collecting it myself? I bought a 109% bonus droid, and im usind 32% vegash, and for some reason im able to harvest more on my own
Is it because im just a scout? no hunting skill boxes?
any ideas?

I'm guessing that you are in a group with someone else when you are using the droid?
If you group with only droid, it will harvest more then you can by yourself.
There currently is a bug with the harvester module that if you are in a group with other people, the droid will suffer from the old group harvest penalty.

My bet is you're in a group, and right now they're bugged with groups. If you are grouped with other players, the droid receives the old harvesting penalty (plus some I think). If you're not in a group, provide details and we'll try to figure out what's up.

I caution you to not call this a bug until it's been officially stated as such by the Devs.

If the droid's just weren't getting the bonus I could see it not being a bug, but droids specifically getting a penalty when in a group? I just can't see any reason that would be anything but a bug.

If that is the case, then the entire Centralized Droid Issues thread needs to be removed, since the DEVs have yet to comment on any of those as well.
Its a bug until it is confirmed as a feature, in my book.

Mmm...it wouldn't be the first time changes were made that appear to defy logical reasoning, si?
That's all I'm saying. Until we hear them officially state it..........................assume nothing.
