Thread: 450k on one day
Also to get a frame of reference tell us how much you charge for a good probot, R2 and R3.
Here is what I usually sell them on Shadowfire for:
Probot: 14,000 cr
R2: 16,000 cr
R3: 21,000 cr
18k - Probot max med/armor, crafting station
17k - R2 max med/armor, crafting station, item/data
21k - R3 max med/armor, crafting station, item/data, repair
Those are my current average prices. My prices aren't based on resource cost or anything. They're based on the current market and the demand for droids. For example, the R2s with a WDG stations sell more than an R2 with a clothing crafting station. So I might charge a few 100 extra for the WDG station as they're in higher demand.

I sell maybe around 20-30k on a bad day, 80-100k on a good day and 150-200k on a great day (usually Sundays, since that's when everyone goes out and spends their weekend credits on new stuff). A bad day means I sell only cases of droid batteries (5k apiece) and cases of seekers/arakyds (5k/10k). A good day means I sell a couple of Probots (18-22k, depending on module config) or MISH (Mobile Imperial Surgical Hospitals- a LE Repair droid with a 110 med unit and med craft station that goes for 14k). A great day happens when I sell a bunch of probots, R2-MCS's (R2's with 110med, med craft and L6 storage, 24k), and do a custom order or two (rare, since I charge extra for doing custom orders rather than selling factory-made droids).
Most of this goes right into maintaining and upgrading my structures, of which I have many.
I typically make 150k a day in droid sales a day. Its hard for me to tell what my best day has been like, since I don't sale just droids, but I'd have to figure its in the ball park of 500k.My prices are....
Probot 13k -15k
R2, Surgical, LE 15k
Protocol, R3 20k
Power Droid 25k
BLL 35k
Agli, I don't know if this was part of the reason that your Droid sales were so good yesterday, but I was out sick for most of the day yesterday and didn't make any Droids at all. I really hope that it was due to your reputation as a respectable and knowledgeable DE in the area and not because my vendors were empty. I say this because I'm glad that you are prospering (About time that I hear another success story in our profession), but I hope that is due to your good name, and not my absence. I hope that this isn't coming out arrogant, since it is not meant this way at all. Many a DE on Shadowfire knows that I am not one to step on toes. I've even given up on expanding to another planet, because I didn't want to set up shop in someone elses backyard.
Yesterday was a good day for droid sales, for some reason.
My own sales were lower than yours, by a considerable margin, but for me pulling in over 100K in a single day is pretty good. I generally only get an hour or two at most on a given day to play, and yesterday was particularly short, yet sales were brisk.
Many of these sales, I'll admit, were crates of arakyd probes.
Yesterday was my best day of sales EVER! I did NOT stop making droids for 5 hours... all custom orders! Factories were pumping out droid stuff like there was no tomorrow! LOL
I don't know what my final total was, but I sold somewhere between 500k and 600k worth of droids, plus another 100k of custom orders that need to be picked up.
I do about a droid every day (15k). My shop is on Talus. It doesnt get a ton of traffic. But I love the low frame rates and mob population ![]()
I make more loot on 15% kinetic armorweave and weapon powerups. Something has to pay for the harvestors.
Also I have a fully stocked vendor in Mos Espa and just started a new vendor at the UNA Superstore outside of Coronet. I got many people telling me that there are virtually no DEs on Corellia, so I decided to make that move. Also Mos Entha is a bit slow compared to let's say your Anchorhead/Bestine location.
Then I really think I am getting a good reputation among our fellow Shadowfire inhabitants. Being a nice person really seems to pay off. People love custom orders and deliveries - that way they recommend you on and they try to come back to your shop if they ever need any other droids.
The real question is of course if I can keep up with all of that. I can see how many of the big crafters got tired after a while. Hopefully it won't happen to me.
Reference pricing for bare droids, no modules, but armour:
Probot 25K
R2 10K
R3 25K
R5 4K
Protocol 20K
Seeker 5K (crate)
Arakyd 7K5 (crate)
Batteries 4K (crate)
Modules are 4K for med, 2K each for anything else. No extra if a cluster is needed.
I also have discount arrangements with some guilds, where discount is dependent on volume purchased. For example, I have an arrangement and private vendor with a BH guild of approx 30 BHs. They get quite heavy discounts because of volume purchasing.
