Just wanted to pass along some emprical results on custom paint jobs. Last night I built 4 droids for customers:

1Probot

1 Surgical

1 R2 ADV

1 Probot ADV

All 4 were built using crated components I had manufactured before the patch and all 4 were successfully painted the first try and stuck without issue. I even painted someones older probot without issue but was unable to paint my own R4 ADV or another's R2 (both older) and have it stick. The R2 I built when first called was a hideous green color, not sure how that happened.

Some recommendations to our esteemed correspondent:

1. Make it so customers can see changes and approve / reject them without using up another charge of the kit. As it stands now, only when you click "ok" and use a charge can the customer see the changes. I had lots of people who went through a few different color options before they were happy which eats into profits. The model that image desingers use would seem to be good.

2. Allow chassis to be customized as well before merging with a droid deed to allow painted droids to be sold on a vendor without DE involvement.

3. Make it so older droids can be painted without issue

4. I've heard reports of paint wearing off over time, I'm ok with this so long as over time is weeks/months not days, its bad enough that droids are battery hogs now.
