1. Consuming power at a large rate, just running around with a r2 for 30 minutes almost requires 2 recharges

2. Advanced probots with full armor @ 40% resists seem to drop like a dead weight. Its like the armor doesnt exist

I bugged both items but the probot issue seems bad and to a profession thats already hurting on an attack pet this makes it hard to sell for any amount, so am posting here too in hopes someone will look into it if they havent already.

I do not believe this is a "bug", per se, but is actually by design. It gives batteries a 'market' and also gives a much needed money-sink for the game. To avoid this 'bug', you'll really want to carry around a few stacks of batteries. Really, really.

My biggest 'bug' so far is that when you select colors for Adv. droid chassis, those colors do not seem to (always) make it into the finished/tamed droid.

I don't know if I'm typical but I would hope that the battery consumption rate is a bug. I bought my first droid ever (a Probot) and a crate of 25 or so batteries. After running around hunting for 20 minutes or so (and having a great time) I was accosted by cries of *Low Power*. I put a battery in and 20 minutes later the same thing happened. Then again and again and again...

Compared to CH pets that I can forage for food (Free of charge to boot) when they cry *Hungry* it became such a pain that I just put the droid away and forgot about it. Also, my pets don't just sit there and do nothing when hungry and commanded to attack.

I'm fine with having to recharge the droid but make it once an hour or something. This constant upkeep of power is going to make me think twice about buying another droid. It's too bad because they are real fun to have around.

I noticed this too, and I just drag my Treadwell around for fun while I'm doing my harvester runs.

Any consumable, like batteries, already have a market - they get used up and you have to buy more.

This seems a little excessive though, 15-20 minutes is just a pain in the butt. You have to carry a crate of the things around with you just for one day of fun.

One hour is better. How many people are actually going to buy or use droids if they're pigs like that. It's one more expense to run the things, and one more strike against them.

This would let someone play for 8 hours a day and only have to use two battery 4's.

Don't worry, they'll buy more, they have to just to use droids, but it's not such an inconvenience that they give up.

Besides, a little extra income might be nice, but I'm not going to make a living off selling batteries. Just the things that eat them.

On a side note, this wouldn't act as a sink because it won't remove money from the game. It will only move it around a little. And if it moves into my pocket, that's OK

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

it's funny, I was just thinking; an electric golf cart runs longer than an R2.

Yes, but can an electric golf cart repair other electric golf carts?

Here's one:

Surgical Droids now list an attack damage and attack speed. Hrmm. An enraged medical droid?

Why not? You can give enemies strokes by the medical droid handing them his bill. Too bad Grauls can't read though...
