Thread: A note to some of my more embittered fellow DEs...

I see some people saying the same things everytime a dev or Sintrosi posts a fix...

"Thats not enough"

"What about fixing X, Y, and Z first"

"We want more"

etc...

I'll tell you right now....there is not going to be some magic bullet that fixes everything, there is not going to be a DE only patch either. Also, some of the major fixes are going to take longer to code than smaller trivial ones...so yes, the small fixes will get done faster....

If memory servers, Probota ahve 810 HAM, regardless of experimentaiton during construction. The two I ahve have 810 HAM when called, although during construciton, they were higher than that.

But, I ahven't checked there physical HAM bar in a while, so they may ahve changed this . . .

Probots can have between 810-820 ham... I just put a batch in my factory at max experimentation and an amazing 814 ham! Meh...

All Advanced Probots have 820 HAM and all Probots have 810 HAM. No matter what is displayed on the Deed or in the datapad, the Probot will still have the default HAM. Next time you get a chance, call out your droid and group with it. Then do a mouse over on its HAM bar, to see how much HAM it has. It will list as either 810 or 820.

Not true. Probots with HAMs of 810-819 have a HAM of 810. Fail during experimenting on an advanced probot so its "guaranteed attributes" (what is says in the vendor) are 819. Then tame it and look at the HAM bars. 810!

I discovered this yesterday when a customer asked specifically for a 820 adv probot. My response was "they all have 820". It came out as 819 after a failed experimentation and 810 actual HAM.

Well then. I now knowwhy I've never seen an Advanced Probot with 810 HAM, since I throw failedDroids out. I refuse to sell something that I know had a Crit Fail at any point in the crafting process. Some will see this as a waste, but I see it as giving my customers exactly what they want.....the Best that I can make.

How do you look at the HAM bars? Is there another way besides looking in the datapad?

Target the droid. Move mouse over the HAM bars and wait for tool tip help.

Yeah but it's more fun to try and keep your mouse over the HAM bar that hovers over the Droid's head while it bobs up and down.
