Hi,

I am not a big poster nor a famous DE among you all but i use to read often the board and sometimes post some message nothing great by the way

.

Until today i was hopping that DE would turn a great profession i was following the DE path since the beginning of my character and it make me six month to get to master DE ( as a begginer i did not have the money to buy all steel and fiberplast to grind so i did it the hard way

and i like to take my time to discover a game ).

But in the last month i have experienced so many feelings :

Disapointement when DE could not even craft a MSE.

Happiness when SOE apologize and tell us that we were not hate by the devs.

Hope when TH tell us that DE were the main focus and will have great change.

And then this last week :

Expectation as they were this loud silence about the new patch until the Droid Handler announce.

Disoriented by all the debate about combat droids as we were debating without knowing anything.

Anger when the Droid Handler solution was announced without even told us something before.

Sadness now that i realize we were never listenedand we arealways the last profession to be considered by the devs.

I do not wish to fight for the futur of DE anymore ... i know this is maybe not the best thing to do but i am no more able to think that we are going to have great changes now , nor we are going to be listened in anyway.
As the dev have said for the CH change "they know better" , well ...they think they know better, and by the waythey will never listen us ...

This may not be the truth but this is how i feel now.

I have the chance to have a secound account so i will keep my MDE sleeping, canceling only that account because i am not paying for six month more only to wait for something that never happen.
I will surely be hanging around but i am tired of this lack of consideration and communication and i am no more having fun with my DE , all my friend are asking me about to brand new droids and it is always a pain to answer that it won t come untils month and that no DE will not have them ...

So farewell fellow DE , i will miss this profession , hoping to revive my DE some day ...

I did the same thing and it's really broadened my appreciation for the game and the people who play the other professions. good luck.

I'm in the same place.

I have been a Master DE for six months, waiting for them to fix our profession - listening to broken promise after broken promise, and through each round of, "What do you want?"

Every moment of that was wasted, because it has become quite clear- as you state - that they are going to do whatever they had planned and we have zero influence on that.

I always said the day I'd drop DE was the day I'd leave SWG, and if this is what I have been waiting all this time for - I think the time for both of those things is just about here.
