Since I have gotten DE as my holo-profession, I mastered and have been waiting, almost 3 weeks, the ability to control more than one droid, battle droids to be more precise. Can I finally drop this profession and cease waiting for something that isn't going to happen, because being master DE and master BE takes up alot os skill points, and it's tough to dna sample aggros without a good mask scent. By the sounds of it master DE is not going anywhere in the direction the rumors have pointed to.

Yes...drop it now.

It was, pardon me saying, kind of daft keeping a profession on the hopes of something like this happening.

In the future, you might want to make sure that a profession can do the things you want before wasting 3 months time sitting on it.

Enjoy!

Hmmm, was truly posted 'respectfully'?

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

If they're just starting to talk about new combat droids now, you're talking MONTHS more before anything is actually implemented. Unless you're a masochist like those of us that stick around, I'd suggest dropping it, or at least focusing on something else while the devs pull their heads out and fix DE, if (big if) that ever happens.

LOL Well when i got the holo prof i was bummed, but it became fun so i have held it hoping for droideka's really. if i were to drop it, then soon after they do give battledroid's i would be so unhappy.

Well, he did post the truth.

Still, it's such a great joy when a customer says "I just bought my first droid from you! It rocks! Wow!" That's what makes me come back.

Arehis posts ever "Respectfully"?

But there's multiple levels of evidence suggesting no combat droids for months. So Run you fools!

3 weeks only? Most of us has waited 7 months...

My advice is to move on. If you want to get it back, it's really not that hard these days. Perhaps, just keep 0004, so you can grind BLL back to MDE in very little time.

I'm about to move on myself, I'm at the point where I can't advance any further in my other professions without giving up DE. So, probably be dropping parts of the DE tree in the coming days.

And another Ahazian bites the dust.

If you drop it entirely, let us know matey. We're more than willing to post a Clearance Sale alert on the DEnet

Let's be nice and not forget to share the Kool-Aid with those wonderful folks over in Austin and San Diego.
