Try this url... It may not be up to date with P7 and P8... but it'll probably help.

sssssssssssssssSSS(:-<

- Account: Master TKA (cancelled)
- Account: Master Doctor (cancelled)
- Account: Smuggler (cancelled)
- Account: Master Chef (cancelled)
- Account: Master Droid Engineer (activity suspended pending developments)
Total loss of annual revenue (SOE): ~$715US to ~$900US
- Bad press: Priceless
Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.

Thanks, one more quick question, is it usefull to use high experimented artisan components... hmm, is it usefull to use high experimented all components (including DE components). I mean if it has effect on quality of final product... I know that it is usefull when makin stuff like Craftin Station, weapons components for sure, but they have stats listed, so no doubt about it... Or maybe only some components should be experimented to high values?

I hope it is not too complicated question... only 3 lines

The short answer is, we don't know -- and there's some debate in the DE community about this. Some believe that if you use better (e.g. highly experimented) components, you have a better chance of great successes on the final assembly roll. Others (and I think I'd include myself in this camp, although I have no way of knowing for sure) believe that there is no difference between using, e.g., fully experimented droid brains vs. a droid brain (or an electronic GP module,or a micro-sensor suite) made from the junkiest resources with no experimentation.

If there is a difference in result, it's not perceivable (at least not by me).

I think there's no question that it's important to use your best resources & experiment on the final droid assembly, since those resources and that experimentation has demonstrable effects on the droid's HAM. And it's also important to experiment on several modules (especially combat modules, creature harvesting modules, auto-repair modules, stim modules) because experimentation affects their stats & capabilities. As far as I can tell, experimenting on clusters has no effect, but again - I have no way of knowing for sure.

Sorry for the non-answer.

Thank you very much, Earymi.
Good answer for me, really. If there is no 'visible' profit from components, i take it as no profit at all

I will use best resources and experimentation on final product and all components where the stats are visible.

Thanks again.

Since it takes just as much work to harvest junk as it does "good stuff" I tend to harvest only good stuff. And since it takes only a minute or two to experiment on a design I am putting up as a schematic, I always experiment on it, visible rating or not. It makes the question of whether its necessary or not kind of moot. However I will say that I have noticed no difference while using some DR31 OQ41 Inert gas that my brother told me to get rid of because he can't bear the sight of it. We agree by acclamation that it is the worst resource we have ever had, and only our mutual stingines prevents us from deleting it.

hehe, i meaned my previous post that i can buy artisan components without fear of theyr quality, and possibly save some money
becouse i should be cheaper, if i take the middle quality of theyr products and not the highend, i didnt say that i will use crapiest resources i have, i just will not use the best of em and these i'l save for components/final products where is the reason touse em...

yes, i will experiment on all components, even with these they do not need it
