Noticed your post going unanswered so thought I drop you a line 
You can indeed get storage droids, any droid can have a Level 6 item storage module in it (actually pretty much any droid, surgicals are bugged). This will allow you to store upto 10 items (or 1,000,000 resources if you like 
) and many droids have multiple module slots; although you can't have more than one storage module. You can however, have a clothing/armour module and a general/droid/weapon crafting module and others in the same droid, look for a droid owners guide in the stickied threads at the top of the board for a complete list and a note of which droids can carry how many.
Obviously, price is server dependant (and a very hot topic of debate [read:flaming rows 
]so best avoid having your thread descend into a riot of DE pricing opinions) as well as being determined by your choice of droid chassis and module combo.
I hope that helps flower, remember, droids with storage modules can store upto 10 items; you can own upto 5 droids in your datapad and droids canhave many different module types.
