Thread: Droid Stat Post for Comparison

I know this type of post has been made before but I couldn't find anything recent with the specific data I was curious about. I finally had time last night to craft some droids (my alt is a Master DE) and I was wonder how the stats of my droids compare with other's out there (whether they are good, bad, average, etc)...

Adv R3 Combat Droid:

Used 6 Combat Modules

Combat Rating 600

HAM 4410

Adv R3 Combat - Tank Droid:

Used 5 Auto Repair Modules + 1 Combat Module

Combat Rating 110

Auto Repair 90

HAM 4410

Note: I did use Combat Modules that were crafted during the 1 night Crafting Change and they are perfect quality (100%).

So is this similar to stats others are getting? I'm especially interested in the Auto Repair stats for my Tank Droid...I definitely didn't use the best materials (didn't have any really high quality aluminum available last night for my tests)...

Anyway, thanks for your input...

Get a Higher OQ chemical and you can improve your HAM a bit more (4500 max on an R3)

Don't use your 110 modules on a full combat R3, you are wasting 60 points of rating.

Your AutoRepair modules could be better, I would end up with a rating of 102-3 in 5 modules, as mine are rated 20.xxx at about 83% experimentation.

Yeah, that's about what I'm getting. Although I don't have good enough copper to get my combat modules that high, only up to 97. But I do seem to be getting better repair, around 100 as well with 5 modules stacked.

Edit: Forgot basic information. Doh!

Garvin,

These are pretty good (the AR module is the weak spot here for you).

The max HAM on these should be 4500, so you've almost maxxed that.

The CR of 110 is, of course, perfect....literally. So, you've made the best there.

I'm curious though...

If you had 110 Combat Rated modules on the combat R3, you should have had a combined rating of 660 instead of just 600.

Did you use different modules there or something?

I think you forgot to have some Coffee this morning TK, max combat rating is 600. Anything above that gets cut off and put back at 600.

I ran 3 tests last night and they all came out the same using the same Combat Modules...it seems that the cap is 600 and as the other post implied, 60 is lost when it hits the cap...No matter what I did last night I couldn't break the 600 ceiling...

I'd recommend you not bother with a 'perfect' combat module in this. For tanking, it would be better to get the worst combat module you can make instead. This way, the droid causes less damage and gives the owner more XP.

If you only have 1 combat module, the rating does not make all that much of a difference. The droid will still steal a good amount of exp. Even with a combat rating of 20, an R3 still does35-45 points of damage a shot.

As for HAM, the OQ of the chem you use will have a direct link with your experimented success. Assuming 10 experiment points, then OQ chem of 970 will give you a final effectiveness of 97%, OQ 860 will be 86% and so on. With OQ 1000, Probot/DZ70 has 3200 HAM, R series 4500 HAM, LE Repair 6000 HAM, all noncombat droids 50 HAM, that is with 100% experimented effectivness)

And remember ANY chem can be used for the final droid deed (right now I am using OQ 950 liquid petro-chem, and am harvesting OQ 960 lubricating oil both of which can be used in the final deed). So always be on the lookout for high OQ chems no matter what form they are in.
