When selecting my resources for experimental modules, how should I go with regard to quality...
Should I go with the highest of either OQ or CD, _or_ should I go with the higher average combo?
Ex:
Link-Steel Aluminum
CD: 123
OQ: 936
_or_
Link-Steel Aluminum
CD: 673
OQ: 723
Since it's 50-50, is it better to go with the 2nd resource even though the OQ on the first is significantly higher?

It depends on what the item you are crafting or working with, requires.
If it requires 50/50 OQ/CD ... Then, personally, I would go with the second one.
if it was OQ only, then I would choose the first one.
My thoughts are, if it is looking for 50/50, then you are shortening yourself by going with the lower than "min spec" requirements of the resource.
I could be wrong though.

If the experimentation relies on Conductivity 50% and Overall Quality 50% then you should use the second resource. The first resource will only allow you to experiment the item up to 52% (50% × 12.3 + 50% × 93.6), while the second will allow you to experiment up to 69% (50% × 67.3 + 50% × 72.3).

of if you dont like multiplication, just add the values together.
But quality doesnt matter for droids, UNLESS its for stuff they worked on in Patch 7/8 and even then not always.

I believe it was Jenden (forgive me if I have misattributed) that pointed out that if what you are crafting has several components that DO NOT have cond as an attribute, then it behooves you to use metals that have higher cond because the resources that do not have cond intoduce a 0 into the equations that are used to figure the final quality of the item. So if what you are crafting has mostly metals in it then the more balanced resource is better but if there are several gas or chem components then higher cond on your metals can be more important. I have configrmed this with my own crafting sessions.
