The day the Droid invasion came out, I purchased 2 maintenance droids. Will I have to buy new ones now? I can't seem to use the Maintenance option and can't add new structures because it says my droid is full. Any help would be great!!!!

I could not get my old maint droid to work that I made on patchday which then was broken a few days later. I deleted it and made new ones after the hotfix.

If you cant get your MDE to refund your credits.. or to replace the defective units... look me up.. I'll deal you a discount rate. Oh.. wait.. I dont discount.. my prices are already far too "reasonable" for discounting.

- Account: Master TKA (cancelled)
- Account: Master Doctor (cancelled)
- Account: Smuggler (cancelled)
- Account: Master Chef (cancelled)
- Account: Master Droid Engineer (activity suspended pending developments)
Total loss of annual revenue (SOE): ~$715US to ~$900US
- Bad press: Priceless
Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.

keep in mind:

the maintenance module stops working if you redeed one of the structures the droid is maintaining without removing it from the droid's maintenance list first.

this appears to be true of both the old and new droids, and from what you are describing, it seem like that may be why your old maintenance droid is not working.

I personally have no intention of selling them because of this. Because I know most customers are going to accidentally break the droid.

Ugh... Didn't know about this one... Will keep it in mind when/if I sell any units.

I don't know if it always the case, but it happenned a number of times while I was testing the droids out, and I've seen it reported on other threads here also.

Yep, its always the case..I tried it 3 times and if you redeed any structure the droid is registered to, the list in the droid is un-editable, and it won't do amaintenance run..making it dead and defunct.

Sales have definitely stopped on this module for me..its too buggy to be sold.

Gahhh, what a stupid bug. And I messed up my second droid now. I will have to send an email to all customers describing the care for these droids.

This is correct, a DE friend of mine confirmed this last night on Starsider.
