Long time DEs please forgive my ignorance, I am enjoying DE (frustrations and all) and while in the deep Buddhist state of 'grindarama' today i decided to browse the modules list. As I did my eyes settled on a module called 'Manipulator Arm'. Intrigued I read the description.. 'allows droid to interact with environment'.

Now knowing from previous conversations with DE friends how amazingly screwed the profession has a tendancy (ive played since launch so im familiar with the sight of burnt out DEs wandering past mumbling to themselves) to have totally useless components.

Can anyone tell me whether A: The Manipulator Arm actually DOES anything or B: Even if its suppose to whether its broken and is useless?

A manipulator arm is simply a component used in droids, the majority of droids require a manipulator arm or the manipulator arm package set. It doesn't do anything, it's simply a required component.

Thanks for that... clarifies a few things... right back to the grind ummmm ummmmm ummmmm ooh mustn't forget to spin the droid prayer wheel!
