Thread: Question about Faction DE Schematics

If I get the FP and buy a droid schematic (R5 for example), will I be able to craft it even though I am only a Master Artisan crafting my way up to Novice DE? Or will I have to wait till I hit DE to be able to make these?

you can make the droid, however you can't make any of the points needed to make the droid.

So if I got the parts from a DE that I needed, I would be able to put it together??

yes, but with an R5, you're probably going to spend almost as much (if not more) money in parts than you would have to buy the droid. Depending on the server and location you are, you can get an R5 for anywhere from 5-10k, definately not worth spending the how many faction points?
