Pera response by TH, the Probots we have today on Live are considered to be CL 6,Not the CL 16 they display, so being "raised" to CL 10 Is an improvement. Forgive me if ya all knew this, but this is the First I've seen confirming what the "actual" strength of our current Probots is.

Wow. CL6. And the probot you were looking at was a probot adv with 40% armor? Wonder if probot basic and advanced or armor make a difference in CL.

my guess is since its an optional component the armor isn't factored in.

Seems curious that armor would not be factored in since the devs made a big stink about armor in Non-CH lvl pets. That among the chief nerfs rolling out I believe.

You can read TH's reponse here, and the question at the bottom is the best one of all, What Will happen to our "pre-patch" probots we have currently?

Wow. I'm more confused that ever. I was also a bummer to see TH's comment that the droid repair tool was coming after all the bug fixes. I'll have to keep using my creature pets until then.

That's even lower than I had guessed. I was thinking around 8.

If the "Creature Level" is figured via a formula, instead of a static assignment, then I'd expect the pre-nerf Probot to have a CL higher than 10; after the patch, you might not be able to call it. Dunno for sure; maybe it'll just go poof.

I was figuring somewhere around, oh, 1.5.

Well considering it is like a Corilean Butterfly drone, when it comes to damage, and lack of armor in the non-advanced probot, Correlian Butterfly Drones are cl5. Wish they would do more damage...

Bostagor,

It's not really fair to say "lack of armor in the non-advanced probot... A basic probot with a level 6 armor module is essentially the same as the best advanced probot anyone can make, except for module space and 10 HAM points. Ten points isn't worth discussing, IMHO.
