Droid Engineer Archive

Does anyone know? My cynicism says no, but I'm really hoping otherwise. Luke would have been so many component parts drifting in space if R2-D2 hadn't been able to patch his X-Wing together. Same with Amidala, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gonduring their escape from Naboo.

There's plenty of evidence that droids are able to repair (or sabotage) just about anything, and I'd really like to be able to use mine to put my speeder back together if I ever accidentally run into a house or something, and it would be one more little step towards making droids useful as something other than rolling backpacks.

I've hoped and tried many times, buteach time that I test this one out, the answer is still No.
