Thread: Market for GPs, Memory Mods, and Energy Condits

Being a Master Droid Engineer I find that what I use most often is the Electronic GP, Memory, and Energy Conditioners. Considering most items need a couple of these (most similiar) I find myself constently visiting my factory for crates. But now, I am going to branch out and become an Architect, but the only way I can do this is to surrender ALL artisan skills but the engineering line. Here comes the question. I was wondering if any of you DE's have done this, and if you find there to be a decent market for these modules. Or do you think I should just load my factory and store about 1k crates of the combined modules?
What do you other DE's think?
Lets all pray for the state of the DE. Nobody wants CL-10 level pets.

I have not done this, but I have considered it. One thing that occurred to me if I do this is the following: why not stock up on manufacturing schematics for those master artisan items that you need? After you let go of master artisan, you won't be able to make manufacturing schematics, but you will be able to use the ones you've already made in your factory.

The only problem I can see with this is the necessary materials. Considering the factories are material specific it would be difficult to keep up with the materials the factory might need.

No point in loading up the factory, just make yourself a handful of schematics and put the resources for them in a separate bag in your house. You'll probably be able to find a MA to make a schematic for you, when you run out of your own. No point in actually running the modules, unless you've got the storage space to spare...

yes. that is a potential problem, but if you do them in 1k patches and make enough schematics, you'll have lots of times between factory runs to accumulate the materials you need for the next factory run. or so it seems to me. still not sure myself. but I don't have to decide if I'm going to toss master artisan for a while yet...
it wouldn't hurt to load a droids data pad up with the manucfacturing schematics either way though. Even if you end up not using them, its a nice backup to have, assuming you do give up master artisan. give that darndata storage modulea use for once! ;-)

and duncje is right, you should be able to find an MA to make you a schematic later if you have to. but how easy that is really depends upon how social you are when you play the game and what kind of friend network you've got set up already.
