Thread: Driod Question

I have a question regarding medical skill (or whatever it's called) in a driod. If you have a driod with medical skill or enhancement ect... can you use it to heal if you don't have any medic skill points. For example I give up my novice medic to free up skill points. I have my medical driod out in combat (not particpating but deployed) will I be able to use a stim pack on myself?

I know R2 droids can have a medic skill rather than medical driods because the R2 units get storage.

No, it does not give you any skills. It allows medics to heal wounds/buff players outside of the med center (with a level 6 module this is at 110% of their normal effectiveness), but you must be able to use whatever skill/item you are trying to use.

No... droids in this game don't allow people to use stims in that manner. Imagine droids loaded with medical modulesas merely "roving medical centers"... meaning: they simply facilitate wound healing done by actual medics and they will **slowly** allow players within their radius to recover those same wounds naturally.

Are you sure about that Virtanis? The part about the droid allowing players within the radius heal wounds naturally? Because I was under the distinct impression that this wasn't true. If it is, that is news, and good news, to me. The question I then would have is if the 110 rating makes you heal faster than if you sat in an empty med center?

I'm fairly certain..... How certain? I'm as certain as SOE was when they said they're releasing the patch a day early because they "got all the bugs out". I kid, but honestly, I have seen wounds my heal with my old medical droid... I guess I need to go confirm this again, just to keep my stuff straight.
