I am a BE and I like to go out DNA sampling and collect as many samples as I can. I bought an ADV R2 last night with and Item6 unit in it. When I examined the dead it rated the storage at 24. Well when I tamed the unit and opened the storage module it only had 10 slots. Is this a bug or did I get ripped off?

The "rating" and the number if spaces available aren't the same thing.
Droids cannot have more than 10 spaces of item storage in them. In this case, it sounds like the Droid Engineer wasted and extra L6 Item Storage module when he created it. A rating of 24 is about what you'd get out of a pair of experimented L6 modules, but it only takes a single L6 module to max the droid at 10 spaces.

the trick is you can have 5 droids in your datapad, so you can get up to 50 item storage over 5 droids.

Not to mention that some DE's are creating 'flocks' of MSE droids for this very purpose - storage.
Maybe it has something to do with a crackdown or something 
remember 5 anyway...you CAN have more droids than 1
