An idea I had today while discussing SWG with some friends- Custom personality chips. I don't see how they would be that hard to implement (unless the phrase database is completely hard-coded) and it would be a genuinely cool utility type droid improvement. The droid engineer could have several dialog boxes to fill in during "programming" of a personality chip that would allow the phrases to be set. I think it would lend a great deal of uniqueness to the droids and give each DE a signature of sorts on thier products- Any thoughts?

It's a very cool idea, but it would be just one more thing that they'd have to store semi-permanently in the database. They do it for Vendors, though, with ad barking, so why not Personality chips?

why not? roleplaying is fun, and having a droid that says specific things when prompted would be nice.
